My story

The moment

"To step toward your destiny, you have to step away from your security."

I always wanted to start my own business before I turned 30. For years I tried to build one the side, picking up freelance gigs on top of a full-time marketing job, but it never really took off. Then Laura and I heard Pastor Craig Groeschel say the words above. I've described it as a moment when I felt the sermon he preached was meant just for me. Laura and I turned and looked at each other, and we both knew it was time to take a leap of faith and start a journey into the unknown.

The leap

I resigned from a job I loved and started over from the corner of our bedroom.

I was the Director of Visual Branding at a $100M nonprofit in Nashville, Tennessee. It was a great job but I chose to walk away from it with no plan, just a lot of courage. Soulheart was born shortly after, mid-way through 2013 with headquarters residing in my home. After three days of wondering how this was going to work out, I got a phone call from the group that would eventually become my first ever client. Life forever changed from that moment forward, and the wild ride of Entrepreneur took us to places we only ever dreamed about.

Today

I help Men take unlock their calling and take action with their life.

I grew up in the backwoods of Kentucky raising cattle, pumpkins, and tobacco. Today, my wife Laura and I live in Arizona with our family, and I'm still building. I coach Purpose Driven men to live out their faith, lead their family and build a business that helps them achieve financial freedom. When I'm not working, you'll find me on the golf course with my son or out chasing elk with a bow.

What I do

My framework is a simple story-based approach that helps people unlock the growth they've been looking for. But it all starts with Faith in Jesus. You can't achieve success without being Blessed. Before I built my Marketing Agency, my first business advisor made me promise to put the Lord first in everything I do and to give Him all the Glory and Credit for anything that happens in my life. It's from this posture that I guide my clients to the results they are looking for. Sometimes we just need to get our order, priorities, and focus back. Other times we just need someone to give us permission to try and everything else will fall into place.

    For men who want their faith, their marriage, and their kids to get their best, not whatever is left at the end of the day.

    For men starting or growing a business of their own. We work on the offer, the plan, and the money, so the business supports your family instead of taking over your life.
